you could feel it.
you didnt know how. but you could always feel when John was looking at you.
you were hyper aware of him. all the time. butterflies in your stomach were permanent whenever he was around. at first it was nervousness but you soon realized that when he looked at you, it wasnt with judgment, it was with love. after that the butterflies werent nervousness, they were happiness.
because somehow you had found someone who looked at you like you were the sun and he had been trapped in the dark for years. and you felt the same.
“are you okay?”
“i think the princess is dead.” Murphy stated, “and i dont know what im going to do.”
“well dont do anything drastic, alright?” Clarke asked.
“she’s gone. Y/N’s gone and i never got to tell her.”
you limped into the tent, “tell me what?”
how had you had ended up in the forest alone with Murphy? simple. you were in love and getting away from the others was preferable. but then you got lost.
it was going to be dark soon. Murphy was sitting on the ground, rethinking everything you two had done.
thats when you laughed and he looked up. you were in the middle of the clearing, “John!” you grinned, “i think its snowing.”
“what? no way.” he bolted to his feet, running over to you. at first he was looking up at the snow but the second he looked at you, he couldent take his eyes off of you.

“you’re not going to do it.” Murphy laughed as you walked away.
you turned and grinned at him, “watch me.”
Murphy’s eyes followed you, he was so whipped.
