his eyes watched you as you entered the bar. it was not often that a girl as pretty as you came into a place like this so you drew attention. he wanted to go talk to you, but it was obvious he was not the only man thinking that.
two guys approached you at the bar. from where he was sitting, Whiskey could hear the conversation and he didnt like it one bit. the men were hitting on you and you made it obvious, in a kind way, that you wanted to be alone. which the men did not like.
one guy slammed his hand onto the bar and that was all it took for Whiskey to jump into action. his lasso wrapped around the drunk mans hand and will one quick pull, he tore the guy away from you. the second man turned to Whiskey who dealt with him as well, “Manners Maketh Man.” he stated, “and i believe the lady told you to leave her alone. now get out of this bar.”
he came to stand next to you as the men left in anger. then he turned around, about to walk to his table, “wait.” you called, “where are you going?”
“back to my seat.” he said simply, “you said you wanted to be alone and i did not want to assume your mind had changed since you said that.”
“it has, have a drink with me.” you smiled. Whiskey grinned, coming to sit next to you at the bar, you eyed his lasso that was now back at his side, “you have to tell me where you learned to do that stuff with the lasso.”
“i could tell you,” he took a drink, “or i could teach you.”
