as soon as you picked up the coat he knew where it was going… you slipped it on and he appreciated the way you looked for a few moments before he crossed his arms over his chest, “put it down Little Bird.”

“nuh uh.” you grinned, shaking your head, “you’re going to have to take it back.”

“dont think i wont.” he said.

“oh, i know you will.” then you were running and he was chasing you through the bunker. you knew he would catch you but laughing and running was fun.

then two arms wrapped around your waist and tackled you onto one of the couches, thats when your laughing stopped as you realized how close you were to him.

he was never really the affectionate kind, even after being stuck with him in the bunker for so long, but the way he was cradling you, careful not to put too much weight on you or hurt you… well, you could tell he really cared. 

you were with Peter after a bad mission, helping grab Peter ice for the shiner on his left eye. Peter’s phone buzzed, “Tony’s here.” Peter said as the front door to his place opened and Tony strode in followed by Thor. “Y/N this is-” Peter started to introduce but you were already hugging Tony followed by Thor who said “Y/N!”

“hey uncle Thor.” you grinned.

“wait… what?!” Peter looked between you, Thor and Tony, “Thor’s your uncle?”

“she never mentions me.” Thor stated.

“she never mentions you because it reveals that she’s Loki’s daughter.” Tony interjected, “which i mean, is understandable.” 

“oh wow, i guess you’re both here now.” you said as you exited the office of a doctor on the ship. you had asked the doctor to keep the check in a secret but you had to have guessed they would find out.

“are you okay?!” Bones asked first, grabbing onto your waist and giving you a worried once over. 

Kirk was next to give you a look, “are you hurt?!”

“im fine.” you smiled at both of them, “Bones… you’re going to be a father and kirk, you’re going to be an uncle.”

Bones went to engulf you in a hug but Kirk put his hand in between you, “Bones! dont squish the baby!”

“it doesnt work that way now god damn it man, let me hug my wife.”

“what’s your angle huh?!” Archie growled, pushing Sweetpea against the lockers before Veronica could grab him and pull him away by the arm.

“look, i dont know what you’re talking about.” Sweetpea growled, trying to keep his cool after just being pushed by Archie.

“my sister!” Archie yelled, making a move to push Sweetpea again but Jughead got between them, casting Archie a glare.

Sweetpea’s jaw clenched and he took a deep breath, “look, i love her and i wanted to tell you but she didnt think you’d take it well.” 

Archie looked into Sweetpea’s eyes for a few moments, “why do you love her? prove it to me.”

Sweetpe rolled his eyes, obviously not about to answer, which is when Toni (the truest of angels) stepped in, “he talks about her all the time. he wanted to ask her out for months before he had the balls to and when he did he planned the entire date. he even brought flowers. trust me Archie, Sweetpea is so whipped it makes me want to gag and i love love.” 

PSA on things i’ve learned from being in abusive relationship

-abuse does not always have physical signs but that does not make the abuse being suffered any less real, valid or dangerous

-if your S/O ever threatens you with breaking up (and i mean a real threat, like not a joke)  that is a major RED FLAG

-if your S/O is making you cry numerous times a week for an extended period of time this is a major RED FLAG

-never compare your struggles to that of others, your mountain might feel like a molehill but it is still your mountain to overcome

-your S/O should NEVER tell you who you can and can’t talk to/be friends with

-you should always feel able to discuss hard topics with your S/O without fear of them freaking out and hurting you (emotionally or physically)

-if your best friends (the people who truly care about you) don’t like your S/O that’s a RED FLAG

-if your S/O makes little to no effort to get to know the people close to you (friends, family, etc…) this is a RED FLAG

-just because one person was an abusive S/O doesn’t mean that everyone you meet afterward will be abusive, chin up, you deserve the world

-he spends long hours in the office with you hanging out on the couch but he ends up paying more attention to you than the work
