it was no secret that you were single. most nights, many of the guys would make the argument that you were the ‘hottest damn piece of ass’ that had ever walked through the clubhouse door.

although you’d never hooked up with one of the guys and you were notoriously NOT a croweater, it didn’t stop the guys from trying.

it was daytime and you were at the clubhouse bar waiting for Gemma who had called you to talk about a few things. Tig walked over, throwing his arm over your shoulders, “you know, if you wanted to see me so bad, you could have called.” he teased.

Jax, Juice and Chibs watched from the door. Chibs immediately rolled his eyes, and turned to Jax who laughed, “why does it bug you so much when guys flirt with her?” Jax asked.

Chibs glared and refused to answer, instead he approached you and Tig, “get yer grimy little hands off the lady.” he stated.

Tig immediately took his hands away and held them up, “sorry man, didnt realize she was taken.”

neither you nor Chibs made any attempt to correct him as Chibs watched him walk away, then he turned to look at you, “its like you enjoy toying with us.” he stated.

“i dont know what you mean.” you said innocently.

“you know exactly what i mean love.” he said, eyes briefly raking over your body, “if you’re not lookin ta have a wee bit a fun, why’re you here?”

“who says im not looking for fun?” you laughed, standing up straighter and stepping closer to him, “have you ever thought, for just a moment, that the reason i dont reciprocate to the guys that try to get me is because they’re not the one im here for?” you let your hand trail over the front of his leather jacket.

he laughed, “well ya should’a said somethin earlier love.” his hands settled on your waist.

you looked up at him, “i’m saying it now.”

he took a deep breath, watching you get ready for the battle. he took one more breath and walked over, lightly touching your arm to draw your attention, “hey.” he smiled.

“hey Bellamy.” you smiled back up at him, “what’s up?”

“I’ve wanted to say this for a long time but with everything going on… havent really found the time.” he laughed slightly, rubbing the back of his neck, “look, i’m just going to say it. i love you. i’ve loved you since i first saw your face when you took your first steps on the ground. even before i really knew you i knew that you were the one and we keep getting into these near death situations and i just wanted you to know.”

he turned to go and this time you grabbed his arm, “you’re just going to say that then leave?” you said in shock.

“didnt want to pressure you to say it back.” he said.

you laughed, grabbing his face and getting on your tip toes to kiss him. you pulled back and his eyes fluttered open to look at you, “took you long enough to say something Blake.” you teased.

“I’m glad i did then.” he said, pulling you in for another kiss.

they were all testing out the newest bikes that a foreign dealer was trying hard to make them buy. you knew they were all super loyal to their own bikes, but they’d be damned if they passed up a free chance to dick around with new high speed bikes.

you and the other girls watched as the gang looked the bikes up and down, all choosing one to test out. “Y/N, wanna see what a real man rides like?” Tig called to you, patting the seat behind him.

you laughed, rolling your eyes, but before you could answer, Chibs said, “aye she does, but to do that she’d have to be with me.”

“no fair Chibs she always goes with you.” Juice whined.

“thats because i’m a real man.” Chibs joked, holding out a helmet to you as you approached, put it on, then got onto the seat behind him. you wrapped your arms around his torso and rested your chin on his shoulder. “hold on tight love.”

“i always do.” you teased.

“well that,” he grinned,  “is very bloody true.” he saluted the boys who watched with jealousy as he revved the bike. then the two of you were gone.

“why does she always choose him.” Tig sighed.

“its obvious they’re together.” Jax answered, “they’re not saying it, but its obvious.”

“drink?”

“yes please.” you laughed, collapsing onto the couch as Spike tossed you the bottle.

Spike came over, sitting next to you, arm going to rest on the back of the chair behind you, “looks  like you’ve had along day baby.”

you laughed at the pet name, “we’re at ‘baby’ now? really Spike?”

“we could be. if you wanted to.”

“sorry about that, seems my friend James had something else he needed to attend to.” you said, sitting at the table in James’s seat. you tossed the dealer some chips, “for you.” you said and just like that you were in.

Le Chiffre watched you. he had not expected you, a stunningly beautiful woman, to be sitting across from him in James’s place. one hand became two and two became three, then you were onto the last hand. you played effortlessly, grinning and chatting with others who were easily bewitched by you, while still playing quite brilliantly.

you had just bet fifty thousand and it was Le Chiffre’s turn to match or fold. you watched him, tilting you head and grinning while he tried to figure you out, “looking for my tell?” you asked, “or just liking what you see?”

he chuckled slightly, “both.”

“in that case, lets make it more interesting,” you said, throwing keys into the middle, “those are the keys to my room, now are you going to match or fold?”

the dealer began to protest about throwing the keys in but Le Chiffre held up his hand to proceed and matched, throwing his own keys onto the table, another grin slipping onto his mouth, “i suppose either way we’re both winners tonight.”

“target is four hundred meters north east, black hat, white shirt, blue vest and grey joggers.” you stated.

“copy that.” Billy said, setting his sights on the target, a few seconds later he said, “mission completed, heading back to rendezvous point tango.”

“good work.”

“its easy work with you in my ear princess.”

you laughed, “i know i shouldn’t be asking, but i heard this is your last mission before you’re deployed.”

“you heard right, gonna miss me sweetheart?”

you sighed at his flirting, used to it by now, “bye Russo.”

“talk to ya later.” he said before you heard the click and the com died.

****

it had been months since you had finished your work and come home. life was simpler but you still found yourself thinking about Russo. it was a randomly assigned com partnership and you didnt even know what the guy looked like, but you had kind of enjoyed the few moments of stolen banter, even though it was waaaay against protocol.

you were at a bar with some friends when a bartender put a drink in front of you, “sorry, i didnt order this.” you said.

“he did.” the bartender said, motioning to a guy at the end of the bar.

you sighed, picking up the drink and walking over the the guy. he was handsome, but you werent a fan of people buying you drinks. “look, i know this whole buying girls drinks think usually works but-”

he held up a hand, “come on princess, is that anyway to speak to an old friend?”

you recognized his voice immediately, “Russo?!”

he grinned, “was wondering if you’d remember me.”

“of course!” you said, opening your arms to hug him, “how did you even find me?”

“if i told you that, i’d have to kill you.”

you were exhausted after the day you’d had so you laid down for a nap. Boone was looking for you and when he got to your tent he realized you were completely passed out.

he was about to go when he heard his name.

he turned to look at you only to realize you were still asleep.

“Boone.” you mumbled again.

he smiled slightly, it was obvious you were dreaming about him. he’d have to tease you about that when you woke up.

you walked behind Bond, your hands brushing his shoulders as you leaned down, eyes meeting Le Chiffre’s as you brushed a kiss on Bond’s neck.

you could see Le Chiffre’s jaw clench as he looked back down at his cards. you left Bond and walked to the bar, watching the game. it continued for a while, Le Chiffre’s eyes ghosting over you every once in a while.

the dealer announced break and Le Chiffre stood, approaching you while Bond went to talk to another player that you had identified as a CIA agent.

“it must be tiring.” he said.

“what?” you asked, turning to face the attractive man.

“pretending to be in love with a man who is clearly not your type.” he answered, waving the bar tender down for a drink.

you laughed, “and what’s my type then?”

a small smile appeared on his face, “lets stop playing games agent. you’re here to watch me. however, i doubt its in your job description to make it obvious. if your plan was to seduce me, you would have moved closer to me by now so obviously thats not the point. which means there is no real motive for you to be staring at me as much as you are, leading me to conclude that your eyes are drawn to me for another reason, possibly the same reason my eyes get drawn to you. attraction. therefore i must also conclude that I am your type.” he said, “correct me if I’m wrong.”

you stood there looking at him and thinking about his analyzation of the situation. he wasn’t wrong. your eyes had been drawn to his handsome features, even though you’d tried to stop it. you laughed finally, “you might be onto something.”
